Stanford's Succulent Garden

I unexpectedly bicycled into a Succulent Garden at Stanford in mid June, with many desert plants in bloom. My enchantment at the wonderful colors and compositions grew while snapping these photos. Flowers below are not cactus, but succulents of the aloe family. After posting these photos I learned about Marsha McPheeters and volunteers who have been tending it.
