NEPAL 1985 . . . . . These two drawings of Nepali and Tibetan men, are now framed on my wall, a reminder of Nepal. Today, the country is in a state of violence. The ancient civiization of Tibet, once known as Shangi-La, fell years ago, with the Dalai Lama escaping to India. Nepal's current tragedy is civil war. In August 2004, Maoist Communists are bombing and invading Khatmandu.
