Ireland County Donegal . . . Ardara

Verity's delightful thatched roof cottage is nestled in a tiny village called Carn, near a tiny beach where the sea recedes a mile at low tide. The caretakers are delightfully helpful, teach us how to built a peat fire to drive off the musty smell. I could stay here for ever, no phone, tv, rush hour, no pesticides or junk mail, a short bicycle ride to the town of Ardara which has a store and a pub. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy!
