PeaceWalk1989 . . . . Most of my life is shadowed by fear of "Mutual Destruction". I live with the horror of those first bombs we dropped on two cities in Japan, and the shame I felt in Tokyo ten years later. For the next thirty more, leaders of two superpowers scowl hateful threats, with hundreds of nuclear missiles ready and aimed to fire at a moment's notice. We were terrified of the USSR, and they lived in fear of the USA. That's how it was, an endless barrage of propoganda and fear.
