. .Kerala Lagoon .. An inland
waterway tour boat carrying travelers through Kerala stops at a kiosk for
tea, where I convince my companions to leave the boat, expecting the nearby
villagers to provide for us, as they did in Bangladesh. Local men vacate
a hut, and a housewife agrees to cook our meals. We stay a week, in this
paradise, swimming in the river, eating home cooked food, paying the villagers,
instead of a corporation.
